Introduction
I bring more than 20 years of HR experience across a wide range of sectors. I’ve worked from grassroots HR roles through to Board-level People & Culture Director, so my clients get practical support backed by strategic insight and real-world experience.
I’m hands-on, commercially minded, and experienced across the full employee life cycle.
I help businesses get the people side right, from solid HR foundations and compliance, to stronger leadership, better culture and more engaged teams. I keep it straightforward and focused on what works. No jargon. No fluff. Just practical HR support that helps people perform better and businesses achieve better results.

• Led People strategy during rapid expansion, integrating 6 additional sites (including 3 TUPE transfers) while maintaining cultural alignment and operational stability
• Manage wages of £9m+ and delivered a project to deliver a £1m saving in wages
• Delivered award-winning employer brand: British HR Awards – Retail Company of the Year (2023); Best HR Team 2025 (Highly Commended); Yorkshire Post Outstanding Employer (2021)
• Embedded a performance-led culture through refreshed Values & Behaviours, new hourly pay and bonus framework aligned to company values
• Introduced employee engagement measurement (eNPS), achieving +12 average score with 52% response rate over the last 12 months
• Transformed people processes including recruitment, onboarding, probation and appraisal to drive continuous feedback, recognition and leadership accountability
• Launched “Great By Nature” leadership development programme to build internal capability and succession strength
• Implemented structured meeting rhythm and communication framework to strengthen alignment, engagement and execution
